We have finally found a site for our new studio!!
After a long search (between 12-18 months) led by Mary Holland we have found a place within our budget and that has a sink! It turns out to be Sally and Heather Fletcher’s studio in the Q.arma building (1224 Quincy Street NE, Minneapolis).
Six members of Midwest Marbling have committed to paying the rent and they will make the studio available for member marbling and classes for a reasonable rental fee. Over time we hope the organization will be able to take over the rent but that is a long-term goal. For now, we are at work making the space ready for the marbling process and enjoying the realization of a major goal!!
