Join Midwest Marbling

When you become a member you get:

  • Up to two days of open studios a month. This offers members a place to practice their marbling skills and gain experience.
  • Access and input into our educational programs on marbling and related subjects (e.g. how to make combs, choosing paper for marbling, etc.).
  • Monthly meetings, except in December, which include short educational presentations and provide time to meet informally, ask questions, and show your work. These meetings are also Zoomed.
  • Access to show your work at local venues.
  • Opportunities to sell your art/craft products.

Meetings

Meetings are from 2 – 4pm on the 4th Sunday of the month, usually in the Q.arma Building that houses our studio and on Zoom. Members are alerted to the meetings and given instructions for connecting via email.

Membership Dues

Membership dues are $30 per year.

We began collecting dues in October 2023; they are be due every October. For new members who join us starting in March, dues are $15.

The cost of dues are reexamined by the steering committee each year.

Members are urged to mail in checks if possible, paying via PayPal includes service fees.
